Lori is an amazing person and officiant! She is very understanding, flexible and easy to work with. She was completely open to basically custom make our ceremony so that it felt just like "ours". Her warmth and love of her profession made our ceremony so special. Almost all of our guests praised her work during the reception - she's a star! Thank you so much for being a part of our big day, Lori!

The officiant was friendly and polite. He arrived on time, greeted the guests, and even helped set up for the wedding. He really went over and beyond what he was supposed to do. Running back and forth making sure things were running smoothly. I wasn't really sure whether or not we should have gotten an officiant but I was wrong. He really impressed me and I wouldn't know how we could have gotten through our wedding day without him. Thanks again and highly recommend!

Hi there I have had to change the date of my wedding as it has not happened yet, but I feel this review needs to be put out there as I was extremly disappointed with Lori's services. I found Lori through this website and per the reviews decided to contact her and eventually selected her for my officiant in September. Her prices seemed fare and she seemed to know ALOT about what she was doing. She told me to let her know when I had put the deposit in the mail and she would send me the ceremony information and examples to look at. Well to start things off, I let her know that I had put the deposit in the mail and was looking foward to hearing back...5 days passed, no word. So I followed up again, still no word for 2 days, then she got back to me and said she had received the deposit and didn't acknowledge her lack on response to my first email. So I let this one go, printed out the ceremony samples and just hoped it was nothing. Well 2 weeks ago I emailed Lori again just asking when I should plan to get information to her as my fiance was still working on reading through the documents. I didn't want her to have to wait on me for the information so I just wanted a basic "brides usually get it to me by _____ months before the wedding" as I have never done this before, I mean you usually only get married once ;) Well I didn't hear back for a week! I was astonished that I had paid a vendor to help me and she hadn't gotten back to me, so I waited a couple more days, hoping maybe she's on vacation or something...? Still NOTHING..so I emailed her letting her know that her lack of responsivness was really starting worry me. She finally got back to me and blamed it on that she had seen my email, but her other computer was down and her husband had taken the comp away from her so she was unable to get back to me...this was very uncomforting and made me question her because if she had seen my email and hadn't gotten back to me by then, when WAS she going to get back to me?? If I hadn't emailed her would I STILL be waiting? This just wasn't ok with me and I decided to cut her services. If I am going to be paying someone to help me I expect them to be there to answer questions. Once I sent her the email that I was canceling services (which all of a sudden she was able to email me back within an hour?) she blamed it on her "casualness" to the situation and didn't realize it was causing anxiety in "my world." To me this is an excuse that she had forgotten and/or got lazy about my email. Also I had to put down a $50 deposit, and she didn't even offer to give this back to me, seeing how this was due to her "casualness" I would think she'd own up to her mistake and offer the money back because I am NOT the one who ruined the services and would have been more than happy to use her, but her dedication to my wedding is what made me cancel and she made 50 bucks off me, not very professional. I have found an AWESOME new officiant who is in touch with me within 2 buisness days of my emails and I am happy I have a new person to guide me through my wedding, not to mention his prices were 115 less than Lori's services. I hope this is able to help someone else save $50 bucks because this was unfair and not a way a paying client should be treated.
