Coakie Joe Cakes

I find it so very hard to believe... in fact, I find it IMPOSSIBLE that Coakie Joe Cakes could have received such a horrible review! I was truly shocked to read that... perhaps, the bride herself wasn't such a pleasant person. I agree that everyone has a right to be advised about money, ESPECIALLY money, of all things... but I wasn't left in the dark with anything. I was informed immediately of everything that would be going on. With that said, this was my expierence with Coakie Joe Cakes... and what an amazing one it was! :) I purchased my wedding cake from Coakie Joe Cakes and I could not have been happier! Truly, this was my favorite, favorite vendor... brides, I fully give you my word--GO TO COAKIE JOES!!! Let me tell you why... I called Christine early in my wedding planning process and decided to meet with her after browsing her extremely helpful website (that is full of detail in price and includes pictures of all the wonderful work!) I hadn't met with any other bakery, this would be the first vendor I work with..I was hopeful everything would work out so I could check my wedding cake right off of my list...COAKIE JOE CAKES EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. I first met with Christine at a local coffee shop in Ripon with my (then) fiance and my father. Christine was on time and had a wonderful set up of goodies for us to try! We had discussed over the phone the options in which we would like to try. She brought so many wonderful flavors and set each "cake" up with a pairing of the frosting we had chosen. IT WAS DELICIOUS. In fact, my fiance and I did not need time at all to discuss if this was what we wanted for our wedding day. As it was so early in our wedding process, we weren't quite sure how many people we would be having, so we had to roughly estimate. Christine had no problem with our estimate and said as it got closer, we could up the teirs of the cake and price if needed. The difference would be made up, and we went with the cheapest options... it was very generous of her to be so flexible. I was so impressed! We knew right away THIS WAS IT! We happily wrote our check for our deposit and off we went (with any left over goodies we didn't finish). I could not believe the price I would be getting for my wedding cake. I was expecting to pay so much more. Cha-Ching!! Christine was absolutely my easiest vendor to keep in touch with! I was ALWAYS informed with what was going on,and Christine is such a wonderful woman! This was my ONLY vendor, folks, that I had absolutely FULL CONFIDENCE in. I was not worried in the least about anything that took place! I'm one of those "not-afraid-to-ask-questions" kind of gal, more so as a bride, and every question I had, Christine answered kindly and respectfully. She did exactly what I wanted and offered great advice! In the end, My cake was EVERYTHING i wanted and more. I got a 4 teir wedding cake (all white buttercream) and had the teirs different (bottom teir was square, next was round, third sqaure and top round). I went to Joanne's with Christine's advice, and found some awesome ribbon to go around the teirs. I wanted to keep in very simple. Coakie Joe's did an amazing job and I was so very pleased with the final product. I immediately went over to my wedding cake when my husband and I got to the reception--AH! it was perfect. Delicious, beauitful, EVERYTHING I WANTED!!!! I can not describe how truly impressed I was to work with Coakie Joes! I will indeed me coming back to Coakie Joe Cakes in the future for birthdays, anniversarys, ANY celebration. THANK YOU COAKIE JOE CAKES!!!

This lady was rude acted like I didnt have a right to ask about her costs. Tryed charging me a $1000 for a cake after quoting me $400 and left me a really rude email, I am not at all convienced this lady knew how to treat a customer she lost out on a $800 I was willing to spend plus Ima let everyone know shes horrible and not professional. People have a right to ask where there moneys going to thats why a lot of these business are going under they act like they can charge whatever they want.

I have never met a more professional and responsible person. I was so last minute at getting her my details and wedding info, and she was so quick to respond. I saved the date with her before I even had a clue at what I wanted. When I finally gave her an idea of what I wanted, I was shocked at how affordable it was. It was a Tiffany's themed wedding and she matched our colors and designs PERFECTLY. I kept changing my details and she never complained, always just acomodated my needs. I will definately be using her again for each and every event we have!!
