Capital City Catering

Capital City Catering was bought out by Sac Town Catering about 1 month before my wedding. I did not receive the same quality that was promised from Capital City. The women in charge was not one for being where she needed to be. She showed up late to the walk through, then did not show up at all for the rental delivery and set-up (and did not take responsibility for this, blamed others). Then on the day of the wedding told me that the meat would be cut at the buffet table, it wasn't, the meat was over cooked and covered with BBQ, not what I asked for. She told me I would have beautiful flower on the buffet table to match my wedding colors, instead it was one yellow flower (really, one flower),my wedding colors were brown and orange. Finally, I told her to cut the entire 160 dollar wedding cake (I didn't want to save the top), instead she did not cut and cut up the 16.99 sheet cake. Instead of at least wrapping the part of the cake she did not cut and putting it in the fridge, the simply placed it in a box and left it sitting out all night. Which meant that I paid 80 dollars for the top part of my cake (it was only two tiers) and no one, including myself did not get to eat any of it (the cake was butter cream filled and must be refridgerated to perserve it). The cater simple put a real downer on my wedding day and I was very sad and disappointed by their services.

The food and service was excellent! They worked hard with what types of food we wanted and liked along with working within our budget. I would recommend them to everyone!
